The Departments of Neurosurgery at National Institute of Health - NINDS, NYU Langone Health, Stanford University, University of Arizona College of Medicine Banner Phoenix, University of Calgary, UC Davis School of Medicine, UCLA, University of Miami, University of Michigan, University of Minnesota, University of Pennsylvania, University of Pittsburgh, Cleveland Clinic and Washington University have partnered to offer a Summer Research Scholarship in Neurosurgery in support of students interested in neurosurgery and neuroscience to perform summer research within our departments of neurosurgery. The goal of the program is to admit medical students between their 1st and 2nd year who have a strong interest in a career in neurosurgery, but have limited access to neurosurgical mentorship at the time of application. Students are required to be in person for the completion of the 9-week fellowship, with an expected time commitment of 40 hours per week.
